This is an 18th century observatory


Jantar Mantar, 1724 Mughal science, telling the time still accurately today. Biggest sundial I've ever seen.

    You need to get out more. the biggest sundial in the world is in parc penallta, just outside Ystrad Mynach, on the site of the old colliery.

    (or maybe it is biggest in UK - *scratches chin in contemplation*)

    it's big anyway!
